Layout Design Special interest Group
The Layout Design Special Interest Group, Inc. (LDSIG) is an association that is focused on bringing attention to designing model railroad layouts and their elements. We act as a forum the exchange of member information and ideas. We promote, develop, support and encourage the participation by the public in model railroading. As part of that effort, we provide free layout design assistance at several NMRA sponsored events .
Layout Design Insight / Consultation / Assistance
We are setting up half-hour time slots for layout design support during a variety of Meet times, early morning, and during the day. And, we only sign up help-seekers in person at the LDSIG desk. Help sessions will run 30 minutes long, that is a good balance of time to get to know what someone is trying to accomplish and avoiding repetition or distraction.
The LD-SIG will be selling back issues of the Layout Design Journal
Registration is $15 until October 28, and $20 at the door.
